Wayback Machine Downloader

What this service does

It retrieves publicly archived copies of web pages from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine and returns them to you as files. It creates no content of its own and holds no archive of its own.

What you are responsible for

You are responsible for having the right to the content you ask to be restored. Recovering a site you own or operate is ordinary. Taking a copy of somebody else’s site and republishing it is a copyright question, and the fact that a tool made it easy does not change the answer.

Requests to restore content for the purpose of impersonating a person or business, or to rebuild a site whose rights you do not hold, will be declined.

What is not guaranteed

Coverage is entirely determined by what the Internet Archive captured before a site went offline. No restore can return more than that, and nothing here promises a complete site. The free coverage check exists so you can see what is actually available before paying.

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. It depends on a third-party archive that can be slow or unavailable, and neither its availability nor its contents are under this service’s control.

Liability

Liability is limited to the amount you paid for the restore in question. This service is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of recovered files.

The Internet Archive

This service is independent of the Internet Archive and not endorsed by them. Their own terms govern their material, and this service uses their public interfaces at a deliberately modest rate.
