One price for the entire site, however many pages the Archive holds.
What that includes
- Every page the Wayback Machine captured for the domain
- The CSS, images, scripts and fonts those pages requested
- Internal links rewritten so the copy browses offline instead of reaching for a site that is gone
- The Archive’s own toolbar and URL rewriting stripped out, so the HTML is the HTML the site actually served
- The original directory structure, delivered as a ZIP
What it does not include
Anything the Archive never captured. Databases, server code and admin panels, none of which were ever in a web archive. Content that sat behind a login. Video files, which the Archive stores only rarely.
Check before you pay
The coverage lookup is free, takes a few seconds and needs no email. It reads the Archive’s index and tells you which years hold captures and where the gaps are.
If it comes back thin, do not buy. It says so in plain language rather than nudging you toward a purchase.
Questions people ask
Is it really one price no matter how big the site is?
Yes. A twelve page site and a twelve thousand page site are both $12. Large sites take longer to run, but they do not cost more.
What if the Archive has almost nothing for my domain?
Check before you pay. The coverage lookup on the front page is free and takes a few seconds, and it will tell you plainly if there is not enough there to be worth restoring.
Do you charge if the restore comes back mostly empty?
No. If the coverage check said there was a site there and the restore does not deliver one, you do not pay.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if the restore did not give you what the coverage check indicated. Get in touch and describe what you expected and what arrived.
